New Tradition

Photobucket

Usually I celebrate Eid Mubarak with family. Having Indonesian food, delicious foods. This year Eid Mubarak I couldn't go back. So with friends, we went out to eat instead. Nando's. For me it's quite sad that I cannot eat Indonesian foods, but I feel grateful I still got to eat :)

Future Reader

I have dreams. Big dreams. But as we all know, there will always a time when you forget about what you've been dreaming of and just enjoy you laziness. I have too. Or maybe a time where you get a chance to start fight for your dream but you decide to postponed for a while. I have too. But most of us never remember about one thing, it is important to still fight for your dream while enjoying your life. There are rarely second chances so if you miss one out, maybe, maybe, you will never get one again.

I have this new friend at campus. A friend that I admire so much in making decision to fight for a dream. He showed me that if you're really willing to get it, then you'll get it. And so start from now on, on hope to be what I always want, I'm taking all chances I could get. Okay, not all, but most of it. Make a small step is better than not walking at all right? I'm teaching myself to be big and bold. Encourage myself to really make all my dreams come true. You know, your biggest enemy is yourself. So beat yourself up!

Perfect Rain

Sunway has been raining and super hot for these past few days, bring along unstoppable flu and fever. I've been so busy, at the same time not feeling so well. Suggested to take some rest but i couldn't as dance and capoeira class just started and I'm so tempted to go!

However, I still managed to go out and had some fun. Prepared for the hotness and the rain, I had to take my sweater with short skirt. And my favorite, boots! :D I don't like the fact that this kind of weather bring sickness to most of us, but I really like to feel the cold. I need to take my coat and boots out :p

Life has been good for me. I'm in my best mood, and reaching my best condition I think :) So grateful.

If you notice in the photo down here, I show my roots color. Siti helped me dyed my hair last Sunday, but the color doesn't really pop out except on my roots. And it's supposed to be red, talking about Rihanna's red here. But it turned out to be dark brown. Planning to go to salon as soon as I have time, but I'm pretty packed until next week :(

Classes have started, and I have become a super busy nerdy. Tired after class, woke up late, crazy over books. It's like no time for my blog, even for myself. First week was terrible, but I'm working it in the second week. Have started to go back to gym, and do more fun things. Joined to the dance club and capoeira also, things I've been loving long time.

BTW, my super housemate, Siti Nurulain Kamis has gone back to Singapore. I'm so sad, and more, I'm so touched with the postcard she left me. I never knew I am the person she described on the postcard. You are such a best friend of mine, Sitz. Even I could have a great conversation with you in a silence (especially when I got broken-heart attack and emoness). Come back soon!

MUFY Graduation Night

Sunway, July 20, 2011
"Congratulation for the graduates of MUFY July 2011"

A year ago I was this girl who just came to Malaysia on hope for a better high school life. That girl brought new hope and vision, and tried to left every bad things behind. Now this girl just graduate from Monash Foundation, officially, after a year of struggling in a place that so far from home. She knows that her fight has not come to an end, but she feel quite proud of herself, she could prove to her family and most importantly to herself that she can do better than what people think of her.

Together with fellow MUFYns, I went to Grand Ballroom Sunway Resort Hotel for the graduation ceremony. I chose to be in a maxi batik dress, proudly represent my country's heritage. The dress I wore is tailor made, and the design is as I requested, which a bit inspired by Ina Thomas's dress that I saw in google. It was perfectly fit me, but then became loose as I lost few kilos.

I did my own hair and make up as I felt too troublesome to go to salon. With no car, and only public transportation and pedestrian that is available, I find it uncomfortable to have my hair and make up done outside my apartment building. So grateful it turned out to be nice, especially in the picture :)

While the ceremony was on going, we were served with non-stop delicious dinner. I had to try so hard to hold myself from eating too much, but then suddenly I stop as I was no longer able to eat as they started to serve seafood. I love seafood, but I cannot eat seafood :( The ceremony finished at 11, but as usual, we were still busy taking pictures with each other until past 12, which resulted in too tired for after party as well. I wanna share my joy with you, so if you are pretty curious the pictures I took or have, you can click here or here. It's too much, 1 album is not enough :)

Anyway, have a great future all MUFYns July 2011. See you in university, or maybe when we have become successful people.

bright future

Photobucket

Second day of orientation, I started the day with more hopes and smiles in a belief that my future will be bright. I was so excited even thought I know the orientation would be bloody boring, but I just can't help to meet more new course mate and maybe seniors. As they say, gotta know the enemy to win the war, and in this case, my enemy is the campus itself.

I took out my colorful outfits I could spotted from my big wooden box of unfolded clothes and combined it all together to fit the summer outfit-code. My mood, at the same time, was represented by the colors of summer; so bright and happy. Went off for school left my room super messy as I was busy smiling in front of the mirror. Man, I'm in love with university life :p

Yeah maybe you will say it's too early for me to say that, but I believe with love we can do it love. So I have to win the battle with huge love I've started to gather since the first day ever. I have to do this for my bright future :D
